GPU hardware follows a bathtub curve. The failures that happen mostly happen fast — in the first weeks of service — and once a node is past burn-in, its remaining failure rate stays flat for years.
A node with hours on it has already survived the part of its life where things break. What you deal with after that is usually software: driver updates, config drift, a bad kernel version.
Warranty terms follow the same curve: DOA, HBM degradation, and overall coverage windows are set on each listing, with freight terms defined per transaction.

We operate a marketplace connecting qualified buyers with verified sellers: we vet the hardware, coordinate transactions through independent escrow, and every listing states its own warranty terms.

Secondary-market compute is opaque: inconsistent listings, unverified specs, and no recourse when a node arrives wrong. We standardize the listing, test the hardware, and reduce transaction risk for both sides.
03What is The GPU Exchange Standard?
The Standard is the fixed set of fields, tests and proofs a listing must carry before it can be published — the same spec sheet for every node, in the same order.
04What is GPU Exchange Certification?
A listing that meets the Standard in full is marked Certified automatically. The test report, photographs and serials travel with the unit.
05What are the inventory levels?
Listings are grouped by availability: in stock with a verified seller, or built to order for cluster-scale requests.
06What are the seller badges?
Badges record how far a seller has been verified — entity checks, trading history on the exchange, and whether their hardware has passed our testing before.
07What proof is required for Certified listings?
Photographs of the actual unit including serial plates, the test report, packaging details, and the acceptance rules that apply on arrival.
08What testing do you run?
Burn-in hours under load, thermals, memory and NVLink checks, plus firmware and BMC inspection. Results are attached to the listing rather than summarized.
09Are there export restrictions on NVIDIA GPUs and other AI hardware?
Yes. Advanced accelerators are export-controlled in several jurisdictions. We screen the buyer, the destination and the end use before a deal can close.
10Do you sell internationally?
Yes, subject to export screening. Freight is insured and quoted per destination.
11What is The GPU Exchange Guarantee?
If a unit arrives outside the acceptance rules, we coordinate the applicable resolution process. The available remedy is determined by the listing and transaction terms, and we remain involved until it is resolved.
12How does buying work?
Pick a listing or submit a request, we confirm availability and price, funds go into independent escrow, the node ships tracked, and escrow releases once the acceptance window closes.
13Can I buy if I'm not verified yet?
You can browse and request quotes immediately. Verification is required before funds move into escrow.
14Do you use escrow?
Yes, on every transaction. Funds are held by an independent escrow provider until the hardware is delivered and accepted.
15Do you handle shipping and insurance?
Yes. Nodes are palletized to spec, shipped insured, and tracked from the seller's dock to yours.
16Can I return a purchase?
Return, DOA, and warranty terms are stated on each listing.
17Can sellers list without being verified?
No. Entity and ownership checks come first; the hardware is then tested before the listing goes live.
